May 30, 2017 · I was working with my 7 year old son yesterday firing the little .22 Cricket using a box of 50 Armscor .22 ammo. After about 40 shots we had one round that was much more like a .22 Mag going off than a .22 long rifle. The bolt turn hard to open and the casing was stuck to the head of the bolt and refused to eject until I removed with my fingers. Finally took my IBM M1 carbine out to shoot today. Used Armscor ammo. The rifle would jam every few rounds. What is weird is that the last mag, the gun ran beautifully without any problem. So I felt like putting some more rounds through my new pt111 g2 today. Got some FMJ 124 gr Armscor from the LGS. First time I've used any armscor ammo, and didn't enjoy it honestly. They didn't want to fully chamber about half the time. The slide would be retracted about a quarter inch. Bought a case of Armscor about time this regime gained the throne..for $.04 a round.. Works great in every thing I own.. No problems, accurate but a bit smoky. All ammo must meet international specs.. thank goodness for that..
