The problem with Boil Over isn't that it is being buffed, it is that the buff is so situational that the value you get from it is either extremely good or absolutely nothing. Play the game normally and Boil Over will basically make no difference. So in that case, it is still a bad perk.

Boil Over is a fairly useless perk. I think it's meant to partially counter Iron Grasp, but it doesn't do that very well. It would be a much better perk if it affected wiggle speed, but the problem is that would be very difficult to balance because you'd have to take into account how it would work both alone and in a stack with perks like Flip Flop or Breakout.Realistically though- no he won't be banned as its not against any TOS. Some people are identical as a tactic, others not. Sometimes visually identical ones will do this with other perks, like boil over, decisive strike etc. it didn’t bother me that they do it because it’s a valid tactic, but so is leaving them there.
